I have a second home about 30 minutes drive from Aubusson. I decided to make a day trip to the tapestry museum and have lunch locally. I booked a table online for a Thursday lunchtime at 1pm. Well advised it was busy. Service was great, fast and friendly. Lovely warm atmosphere with people talking and retro 80’s pop music in the background, not intrusive at all. We both opted for the steak served medium. We had a glass of wine each and two espressos to finish off. Couldn’t manage a dessert after the huge entrecôte. We had a mushroom sauce and a chimichurra sauce with the steaks. It comes with frites and a side salad. The steak was delicious. I’d definitely recommend this place and will go back. Total bill was €49. The town was lovely to wander around and the museum of tapestry was great too.
Smart intimate bistro style Resto.Great service from the waitress, who effortlessly looked after 30 odd diners. Food excellent..we had the Secreto de Porc, very good, with fries to die for! The tables could be too close together for some, but adds to the ambiance. Well done everybody at Chez Armand, thanks for a lovely lunch!
Very friendly welcome from the staff. Helpful service, excellent presentation and well cooked food.
